I started out by selling my daughters clothing after she was born. I was not working, in fact I was laid off due to cut backs while I was pregnant with her - talk about panic! Selling your daughters gently used clothing in lots of similar sizes will start you off with a nice income.

I can understand your situation Kathryn, although my situation was different, I still had to weigh up the pros and cons of investing into my own personal education.

Although, I found that without my own personal efforts and desire to succeed, information alone could not help, unless I really had to take action.

It reminds me of an older post on my blog..

I can remember a post I wrote at the time..

I keep thinking about this but am just too scared to invest my much need pennies in something that may or may not work. With debts rising, no extra hours at work and a baby to bring up on my own whose father thinks £10 a week is suffcient - I am in desperation of finding something I can do from home to make more money and provide for her.
The fear factor of being worse off is stopping me!

Awesome advise John! This is EXACTLY the email I get on a daily basis. You have to start out small or you will wind up loosing money in the long run by a lot of unwanted trial and error.
